PFPPA Wins the

The Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association won the “International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) MA Award for Collective Contribution to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights”, the award is attributed every three years to one of IPPF’s 170 Member Associations that are spread in different countries, PFPPA was awarded this year for the outstanding work it has done throughout its many years of service provision despite all economic, social and political obstacles.

Ms. Amina Eweidat, Executive Director of PFPPA, received the award during a ceremony held last Saturday 20th of May 2017 in London for the winners from different categories; Ms. Eweidat talked about the difficult circumstances that the Palestinian people have been going through, pointing out to the open hunger strike by Palestinian political prisoners to achieve their just demands and most basic rights, she also expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the continuous support of IPPF for the association, referring to the key role PFPPA’s volunteers and staff play to achieve its mission, and to reach the Palestinian society’s different sectors especially those living in marginalized areas.
